Connie Green
Connie Green is the founder of the specialty foods company, Wine Country Mushrooms, co-author of Wild Table, and an important friend to SOMA for many years.
She has foraged for decades and was one of the first to bring wild mushrooms to San Francisco chefs in the 1980's.
In the French Laundry Cookbook Thoma Keller has two pages about her and in her book he wrote the foreword.
She's traveled from South America to Alaska to learn more about foraged foods and has some pretty darn good stories. Ask her about some of these while she does her chef demonstration.
